Adult and Child Classes
Expand a child's imagination by engaging them in fun and productive classes guided by Paula Zinngrabe Wendland.   Each adult and child will plan, make decisions and think resourcefully through guided instruction that also teaches patience and follow through.  These classes are designed to offer a
place, a project and the resources for an adult and a child to work together to complete a project.  The projects are simple enough to complete in a night but with enough flexibility to allow for creative expression.  Clay on Steele will be offering a series of classes throughout the year celebrating the holidays and seasons.  The classes will begin prior to the upcoming event.

The cost of each class in the series is $35 for both the adult and the child and includes the materials, firing and instruction.  You may also pay for the entire series (4 classes) for $130.

Adult and Child Seasonal Series
In this holiday series, an adult and child will create a project designed around Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.  These sessions can be modified to the holiday you may wish to celebrate (ie. Hanukkah, Kwanza, Festivus).  Each series project will be held on two consecutive Tuesdays from 7 to 8 pm.
(One session left in this series.)

Easter- April 12 and 19
Celebrate the renewal of spring and make a decorative bird's nest/basket.  You and your child will have fun squeezing clay through a garlic press to construct the "nest".  Then you will shape and paint pretty eggs to adorn your basket.  You will have a lovely container to hold jelly beans or other pretty things, and a cheerful centerpiece for springtime holiday meals.
